    Application

    I applied online. I interviewed at Tilt.com.

    Interview

I'm reaching the end (tilting? ha) point of the interview process at Crowdtilt, and wanted to share a few thoughts about my experience so far. It has been effective and enjoyable for several reasons:

First, the concise individual meetings have allowed me to get a sense of each person's role and how the community manager will work with them. It's been awesome to get to know each person on the team and learn about their values and passions - with plenty of time to ask questions, hear their story and understand what inspires them everyday.

Second, the time in between meetings has been valuable for me to use the product, think about the user experience/community and really understand what makes it special.

Third, I've really appreciated the time and thought that everyone has put into me - both as a community manager and a person. This process has not only provided me with the opportunity to get to know each team member more in depth than I have at other companies in the past, but has really given me a chance to share my passions and personal values with the staff - ensuring that there's a fit on both sides.

Last, communication and follow-up have been second to none. The process has felt informative, efficient and smooth the entire way through. It's actually been a blast. :)
