I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tinyclues (New York, NY) in November 2017.
The interview process was a very pleasant experience. I first had a 30-minute phone screening and then an informal sit-down while the CEO David was in town, which was a great way to meet in a relaxed environment and discuss Tinyclues and the role specifically. It was invaluable to hear first-hand his vision for the company moving forward and was also, I'm sure, to gauge the "culture fit".
After this I then had an in-person presentation in their downtown NYC office to walk through a case study analysis. I must admit this was a bit challenging, but gave me a great idea of what the role would entail.
Next, I had a 30-minute video conference with their COO where we further discussed the specifics of the role and the future of the US operations in particular- another sign of their commitment to find the right candidate.
Finally the Tinyclues team reached out to my references. Everyone was extremely communicative throughout the process and I greatly appreciated the opportunity to talk to the leaders of the company.
