We are a team of dedicated professionals, passionate about producing high quality work. We are an HPO (High Performance Organization) that believes in empowering employees to come up with solutions, learn new things, and do their best work. As a result, we’ve become the global leaders in developing automation solutions that improve processes related to validating, metering, measuring and tracking the movement of materials. We are Toptech Systems!
We work here because we love it! We love working with customers and solving their complex problems. We love designing new products to address needs that no one else in the industry has addressed. We love being part of a positive, hard-working team that does what it takes to exceed expectations. We love being encouraged to take initiative, learn from mistakes, and celebrate success.
We want you to not just succeed, but excel. In order to help you do that, Toptech offers a competitive tuition reimbursement program to support further education. This includes degrees, classes, seminars, and conferences. In addition, Toptech hosts monthly Brown Bag sessions. Each of these feature an employee teaching an hour long class of their choice. Toptech also hosts several Management Development Sessions for current and aspiring managers and trains all their employees on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

I have been working at Toptech Systems full-time (More than 3 years)
There are a lot of friendly people here, and if you're lucky (like me), you're on a team full of 'em. There's usually not a shortage of work, although a lot of it can be repetitive or feel like a waste of your time. They're also making an effort to tell employees they are appreciated.
The processes and code based are disturbingly outdated, and many of the long-time architects and managers are revered as gods, caused many of the maintenance problems you'll be expected to deal with. Most of the good people leave this company (or are fired for trivial matters) within 1-3 years, and a lot of the people left have a lot of room to grow in their field.
Advice to Management
Stop disciplining employees for voicing their minds or trying to be progressive. Stop trying to force growth all the time - we need to focus on stabilizing our core product and giving our existing employees time to take continued education classes so we can move forward with smarter architectural decisions, instead of rushing every product and feature to the finish line just to say we have it.
Finding out the features of our competition needs to be a priority - how else are we going to differentiate ourselves from the competition, if we don't know their feature sets or even their pricing?
Our non-competitive employee agreements prevent us from sharing employees with our competitors, and are preventing us from moving the industry forward. No one wants to work for a backwards company in this day and age. If you need to ensure loyalty, start by giving people competitive salaries and meaningful growth opportunities, like training and promotion paths. Or at least offer paychecks commensurate with experience and work done.
Finally, fire incompetent people. They drag down their teams.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toptech Systems (Longwood, FL).
I found the position through a staffing agency. The interview was very disorganized. They emphasized working 80 hours and billing for 40. They asked questions about handling coworkers in a combative environment.
