Much more strategic environment filled with very bright people.
Driving Technical Innovation.
Pay is below average due to lack of equity.
Uncertainty for the future due to corporate mismanagement.

Improve the comp structure.
Improve HR and IT organizations.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toshiba America Electronic Components (San Jose, CA) in November 2015.
The people I interviewed with were nice to my face, but apparently they want young and cheaper engineers. I was scheduled for four in-house interviews, answered all their questions well, but they abruptly stopped, made up an excuse that the other interviewers were in meetings, and I had to leave. I was hoping that they would re-schedule the last two interviews but received a rejection letter two days later. Since then, another experienced engineer interviewed there and had the same experience I did. All in all, they want young talent that they can manipulate and they feel that they can't with older engineers. Definite ageism bias!!
