Offer remote work and a cool industry.

Advice to Management

Show that you care about your sales people. Show them that they are more than a number. Look at companies that are successful and then look at how they treat their employees.

  1. Product Designer Interview

I applied online. I interviewed at Tourlane (New Delhi)

Had my first interview with HR which went well - the interviewer was really nice and gave me a good idea of what was expected of me in this role.

    This was followed with
    - interview by the manager and portfolio presentation
    - take home task
    - presentation of task to the manager

I found the manager to be very cold and a bit arrogant at times. I spent a week working on the task and presented a very good amount of work and he told me that he wanted to see more while even asking me questions that had been irrelevant to the task or problem I was asked to solve.

The worst part was when I presented a screen highlighting "what I would do different if I had more time" of course projects like this usually take months not a week. He asked me how come I didn't have time to do this and if I was currently working. Which was pretty out of line as a company shouldnt expect someone to work full time on an unpaid task.

Finally, I was not provided with any feedback on the task but recieve a generic rejection letter.

Do you have experience in scrum or agile?
