I worked at Townsend & Associates as an intern

    Pros

It is a fun atmosphere and laid back, but everyone still works very hard. Co-workers are very nice and helpful.
I was always kept busy, which allowed me to learn a lot.

    Cons

None that i can think of

    Sourcer/Recruiting Assistant Interview

    Negative Experience

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Townsend & Associates (East Brunswick, NJ) in June 2016.

    Interview

Very weird process. Took an aptitude test that examined my Excel, Word, and analytical skills. This lasted about an hour. Waited another hour to meet with a recruiter, and met with an employee that was not associated with the position I was being interviewed for. Felt like an interrogation rather than a job interview. The employee was offended when I answered a question wrong (personally, my answer was pretty good. Sorry that it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear) I sent the manager a nice email, and I did not get a response back. I also got the vibe that all of the employees were miserable.
