I worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (More than a year)
Good immersion into the Toyota Way of thinking. Extremely patient with new hires Exceptional opportunity for internal advancement (higher education optional in many cases)
Communication has a lot more to be desired "True" leader develop missing "Good ole boy" culture exists despite many trying to dissolve it.
Advice to Management
Please, please, PLEASE develop employees to lead. Tenure at the company does NOT automatically equal the ability to lead others.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia.
Met at career fair, given interview offer on the spot. Very slow to get back with offer but finally did. Very standard questions. 2 on 1. 1 Hr, 1 Engineer. Extremely nice and funny people.
