I have been working at Tractenberg & Co. full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I have worked at Tractenberg & Co for years, starting as an intern when I was in college. I've been in most positions at the company and have found my time here has afforded me many great experiences. I've been able to travel (even internationally), I've met legendary hair and makeup artists, I've worked on celebrity campaigns and I've had the opportunity to help launch and build new brands and watch them grow. I've also received generous flexibility during personal times (wedding, baby, family illness) and other unique perks that would not be possible at a larger company. If you are looking for a corporate vibe, this is not the place for you. Writers and influencers are very familiar with the company so it's easy to make and grow relationships. Lastly, the client roster is robust and diverse, so you have the opportunity to work with big, small, mass and prestige brands across skin, hair, makeup and more.

    Cons

Heavy workload and high expectations. I would be lying if I said there weren't tough days and long nights, but they are infrequent and the positive benefits of working at an all-hands-on-deck agency has far outweighed any challenges I've faced. Additionally, the hours are strict so if you're looking for a work from home policy, you likely will not find it here (except under special circumstances).

    Advice to Management

To managers: understand your team has a heavy workload and work with them to prioritize so they feel your support.
