    I have been working at Tradeshift full-time (More than a year)


    Over the last three months, the company‘s response to COVID-19 has been incredible. They’ve shown a tremendous amount of empathy and care for all the employees around the world. Weekly emails, encouraging the employees along with company updates from the CEO were very helpful. They were very quick to close their offices, keeping employees and their families safe. Then, with all the attention around BLM, the company has once again shown their true colors by what they’ve said to employees, but more importantly, the way I see them behaving. Adding Juneteenth as a US holiday was a bold move that I really appreciated.


    Tradeshift is growing fast. You have to be willing to pivot when necessary. You need to be ready for change, because there’s a lot of it. Tradeshift is also doing a lot of work from home, but at least it looks like you get to choose if you want to be in an office or at home. If you love being in the office all the time full of employees, that might be difficult, but that’s probably going to be difficult for every company

    Advice to Management

    Be clear on our priorities. Help us understand what we need to focus on and help all of us focus on the same things to achieve a common goal. Help us eliminate any potential duplication of work, or misunderstandings between teams. Exemplify the value of one team, one mission.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tradeshift (Los Angeles, CA) in August 2019.


    Approached by recruiter, organized an interview with hiring manager by phone. Next step was phone interview with peer of hiring manager. In person meeting with presentation for hiring manager. Final interview was interview with Chief Revenue Officer by video conference. All interviews very professional and respectful.
