    Pros

The interview process was absolutely amazing. Everyone was genuinely kind and I was walked through every step very concisely. Loved using Trainual during the hiring process, it gave me a great base to better understand the product and I didn't feel like there was any unnecessary jargon involved---everyone treated me like a human being.

    Cons

I am directionally challenged and the office location will take me a second to find every day...cue me getting lost and my coworkers having to find me! Otherwise---no cons thus far.

    1. Sr. Product Manager Interview

      Difficult Interview
      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trainual (Tempe, AZ) in Sep 2023

      Interview

The interview process consisted of a call with the People team to initially vet, and I moved along to an hour long interview with the hiring manager and was given a project to complete. I went through another interview where I had the opportunity to present my project and meet more of the team. The project itself was fun, slightly difficult considering personal time restraints, but ultimately it allowed me to demonstrate my capabilities and give the team a sense for how I build products end-to-end. The turnaround was quick as the team was looking to fill this position fast, however ultimately the position was filled with another candidate. Not to worry though! Even when sending me the news that someone else would fill that role, the entire Trainual team was so kind and we were able to keep our connection open. About a month later, another product position opened and I had the opportunity to pick up where we left off (which is awesome, I had met so much of the team and dedicated a lot of time to interviewing and was impressed - and relieved - we didn't have to pick up from square one.) Since then, I've had the opportunity to meet everyone on my team both virtually and in-office for a lunch date. The experience was one of the best interviewing and hiring processes I've experienced from a company this size to date. I'm eternally impressed Trainual uses their own product to provide feedback and allow interviewees to get a sample of what type of product they'll be working with. Every single person I have spoken to seems smart, down to earth, and you really get a sense that everyone is working towards the same goal.
