Mission: Our mission is to make public transit the first choice for all. This mission drives our values, which are the criteria we use to make good decisions and basis upon which we operate. These values reflect our way of business and being.
I have been working at TransLoc full-time (Less than a year)
The majority of the leadership team (particularly those who have been around a while) really do walk the talk. They care about people first. No BS
Nothing's perfect and sometimes necessary changes don't happen as quickly as folks would like. It's a trying time in the company's history as we moved through a major transaction. Ambiguity can be hard, but I trust (most of) our leaders who have a vested interest in the company and its people. It will be interesting to see where we go.
Advice to Management
Be as transparent as possible. In the absence of details, clarity, and understanding, people can make up worst case scenarios.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at TransLoc (Research Triangle Park, NC) in May 2016.
The interview process takes place in 4 phases.
1) Initial meeting with internal recruiter.
This was done over lunch and was a fairly standard discovery meeting. A bit of explaining about the company and explaining about my work history.
2) A coding assignment e-mailed to me that evening.
3) A technical code review and meeting with the dev manager.
4) A meeting with the CEO.
