Transtreme – Why Work With Us?

Frustrated by the current health assessment offerings — that only reach a fraction of patients, lack meaningful clinical content, and do not treat identified issues — Nurse Practitioner Rick Michel founded Transtreme. Rick knew that there had to be a better way to deliver quality care to clients by developing a new model of risk adjustment for Medicare members.

Our embedded Nurse Practitioners do not only identify new conditions and confirm existing diagnoses. They accurately address suspected conditions, allowing partners to more adequately align reimbursement with realized medical expenditures.

We may be big now, but we started as a small group of healthcare professionals and IT experts focused on solving for medical imaging shortcomings.

    I applied online. I interviewed at Transtreme (San Francisco, CA) in October 2019.


    The process involved a fairly informal telephone interview, shadowing a current nurse practitioner, and then likely dinner with the CEO of the company to discuss further. It seemed very streamlined, quick and as though the priority was ensuring a good fit in terms of personality.
