I have been working at Travel Counsellors full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Hold a lot of responsibility to make the right decisions and trust is put in you to make choices within your expertise.

    - Great atmosphere to work in, the interview process included a personality test so they only hire people that will fit into the company and share that ethos of the company

    - Very flexible working, couple days from home and flexible core hours really help out with a family at home.

    - Offices are very nice with parking on site, right opposite the Trafford Centre

    - The people team/HR are always including the staff in their decisions to make working for the company better

    - I was recently on Paternity leave and got sent a lovely bunch of flower

    Cons

    - The location requires you to drive. Trafford park is not well connected by public transport.

    - Paternity leave is only the bare legal minimum but I understand this is something being looked at.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Travel Counsellors (Manchester, England (UK)) in February 2018.

    Interview

Too many stages and took over a month to get back to me with an update. Unprofessional staff. I later found out what had been discussed with recruitment was spoken about (negatively) with the team.
