Senior Management does not listen to their employees. They are unwilling to recognize new trends in the market until it is already at mass. By the time they are willing to react to change it is too late and the trend is over. Does not promote from within nor offer any professional development.
Advice to Management
Develop the talent you have in house instead of always looking outside. Believe your employees, some of them have great insight into the market/trends but are never listened to.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Trends International (Pittsburgh, PA) in March 2011.
Brief phone call with the Regional Manager. After the phone call, I was requested to meet that Regional Manager in person for an interview from a reduced pool of candidates. Was offered the position on the same day of the reduced candidate pool.
