A Word From Our CEO:

Burton M. Gold?eld

Burton M. Goldfield
President and Chief Executive Officer

"I am amazed at what our clients are doing. We have one CEO passionate about mentoring children through after-school programs. We have another working to cure a staph infection called MRSA. What I find wonderful is that TriNet gets to be a part of their success. We're helping them make it happen."

We don't just have a set of company values—we aspire to meet them on a daily basis. We call those values POISE, and they've been the foundation of our company culture for the last 20 years.

POISE means Personal GrowthOrientation to the FutureIntegrityService, and Entrepreneurialism. We think it's a powerful culture in which to work, grow and advance. And whether you're a vendor, a customer, or a TriNet team member, we think you'll agree.

Poise

Understand client company objectives and how your role contributes to those objectives.
Give of yourself to benefit others including customers and the community.

Poise

Proactively innovate to improve services by anticipating client needs.
Demonstrate openness to change and innovations proposed by others.
Take action to implement positive change.
Leverage leading-edge technology to solve recurring problems and innovate better methods.
Consider international impact on all innovations.

Poise

Consistently demonstrate honesty and integrity to all audiences—customer, vendor, each other.
Feel comfortable offering (and considering from others) unconventional alternatives that support our mission.
Seek first to understand and then to be understood.
Celebrate diversity and show respect for all individuals.

Service

Consistently deliver friendly, hassle-free, exceptional service to all clients—internal and external.
Offer alternative solutions when faced with seemingly impossible requests.
Take the initiative to exceed customer expectations and take the extra steps to bring full closure.
Committed to teamwork and take individual responsibility for your contribution to the team's success.

Entrepreneurialism

Take calculated risks for the overall success of the company.
Use resources creatively and do a lot with a little.

I worked at TriNet Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great compensation and rewards are unlimited if you know how to sell on value.

    Cons

Needs to get away from verticalization.

    Advice to Management

Focus on strengths and double down with downsizing sales force as many folks need to outplaced as they cannot sell. Coach managers to focus on retention of clients and selling for the needs of company / clients that they are selling to.

Great company but needs redirection in overall direction of company for sales to grow again.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8+ weeks. I interviewed at TriNet Group.

    Interview

2 month interview process consisting of a peer, direct manager (Director) and 2 VPs. Consisted of face to face, phone and skype calls. Lengthy process, but if you interview well then you'll be golden.
