I have been working at Tricon Energy full-time
Many positive cliches apply here: entrepreneurial, go-getter type environment - ambitious senior management and sharp, hungry employees across the globe. Work hard/play hard environment with very hands-on and open management. Growing and maturing at pace. Possibly the most diverse office in Houston!
Outstanding benefits and culture of sporting and family values.
Very young company - both a positive and negative - but maturing with recent senior hires. slightly disorganized at times but product of rapid growth and lack of bureaucracy - would take lack of organisation over that any day.
Advice to Management
Keep growing, maintain presence and accessibility to all employees, improve communication of good and bad news. Overall just concentrate on maturing the company while retaining the entrepreneurial qualities.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tricon Energy (Austin, TX) in September 2016.
Received an interview opportunity on campus.
Recruiters were generally nice and attentive throughout the interview.
I read another review on how Tricon doesn't respond after the interview + personality test, but it looks like that is my case as well. Don't have an opinion Yet to recommend people to Not interview with Tricon or not.. but my expectations are low at this point.
