I worked at Trillium Trading full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

If you are a motivated person and have discipline and patience to be a trader this is the place for you. I was fortunate enough to begin in 2007 which presented a plethora of learning experiences. The support system that is set up is unmatched in the industry. You have a mentor along with weekly learning classes. Most traders are more than happy to teach the necessary skills of everyday trading. If you can become successful at this job, honestly there's nothing better....

    Cons

The job can be frustrating given low volatility and market conditions... You need patience, learning how to trade takes time and every trader is different

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trillium Trading.

    Interview

Pretty basic Junior Trader interview. Expect a lot of questions about probability. The first questions were basic probability, the next two medium level questions were a little more advanced probability, and then the last two were a statistics question and a calculus question. The person interviewing me gave me immediate feedback and was very cool and polite. I stumbled on the calculus question and didn't get invited back for the second round interview.
