Healthcare Assistant

I was told I was hired during an interview, I haven’t turned in an official resignation to my current job. How long should I wait before I contact hiring manager about onboard information? A couple days or a week? I was told onboard info would show up in my junk mail. Kinda mixed vibes bc the Interviewer wasn’t giving the proper eye contact. It started out indirect. I got a tour of the facility and a pay rate. Instant hire. I’m kinda weary. That last I was instantly hired the place was toxic.

"Relatable and Approachable Management"

Pros

The company promotes comradery. Management goes above and beyond to show appreciation to field staff, be it shout out emails, periodic thank you cards with gift cards, and lots of in office lunches.

Cons

Hours are long and case load can be a lot. They try to group patients in geographical areas but sometimes I get called to go out of my area which requires a lot more drive time in this traffic..

Advice to Management

Hire more PRN nurses that can fill in the gaps and alleviate some of the work load off of full-time nurses, especially in season.
