I have been working at Tripleseat full-time (Less than a year)
It's funny that I hear the word "start-up" associated with Tripleseat. This company has been around for the past 10 years and they've been an industry leader for the Event Management space for the majority of that time. This is an incredible time to be a part of Tripleseat because now customers, consumers, and the industry knows that this is not a flash in the pan type of company. We are a solid producer, pretty sure year over year for the past 5 years we've had incredible growth and I don't see that taking a nosedive ANY time soon. I've been lucky to be associated with this company. You know that feeling when you wake up and you don't want to go to work?. . . well that's not my feeling. I'm pumped to get up and go in and see really smart, fun, and driven employees. When any department has a WIN, all of the employees celebrate. Small victories are celebrated and you get recognized from the top brass to the person that just started last Tuesday. You will definitely feel a part of the overall success. This company is growing rapidly and with that comes changes. I've already seen a small office grow into a packed office. I feel as if the C-level team and upper management has done a fantastic job of keeping everyone on the same page and heading in the same direction. In 2018, Tripleseat received some awards for Top Start Ups, Fortune 1000, and the Gold Stevie award for best National /International Event Management Software just to name a few. I know that people are just now taking notice of this great company. I'm excited for the next 1-3-5 years with Tripleseat and I can't wait for the growth opportunity each employee will have. Oh and lunches are paid for and there are a ton of snacks in the office, with a cool shuffleboard, pop-a-shot, corn hole boards, giant jenga and arcade just to blow off some steam.
Office can get loud with dogs, packed office space, and radio playing. Wish we had more break out rooms and/or offices. Work benefits like paid lunches are great, we have travel opportunities, and upper management is great to allow us to attend. However company benefits such as insurance are a little expensive compared to previous employment. I feel as if when the company grows the C-level team will adjust so this is more cost efficient.
Advice to Management
10 years down, can't wait to see next 10!! Keep up the great work, please continue to keep all employees involved and focused on the main goal of making all event managers jobs easier.
