TrustHCS – Why Work For Us?

What We Doundefined

The TrustHCS consulting team identifies middle-revenue cycle lift and risk opportunities for our clients and implements a process to eliminate backlogs, improve documentation and reduces downtime. Our TrustHCS team is dedicated to implementing new and efficient processes for coding, compliance, and quality that
remain in place long after our consulting engagement ends.
By delivering long-term value with every consulting initiative, mutual success is assured.

Our Motto – Trust is Earned.

This means everything to us. It is a defining attribute that is important enough to make our name, yet fragile enough that it can be ruined with a single word or action.

Our Goal – build value by helping:
  • Reduce Operating Costs
  • Accelerate Revenue Cycle
  • Improve Revenue Integrity

Guiding Principles

  • Transparent
  • Intelligent
  • Valuable
  • Mutually beneficial

Torrey Barnhouse, Founder and CEO of TrustHCS has a passion for hope. In 2004 he joined a Springfield, MO based nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of impoverished people in Nicaragua, Central America. Project H.O.P.E., Inc. is an interdenominational Christian service organization with work centers in Nicaragua, Central America, the poorest Spanish-speaking country in the western hemisphere. The organization is completely volunteer-driven in the States, though staff in Nicaragua receive a salary for their work with our children and families.

The organization’s primary areas of ministry are: pastor training, medical and dental outreach, home construction, preschools, evangelical festivals, water projects, abstinence programs, social programs and community development.

Join our team of qualified and experienced coding and CDI professionals throughout the country.

Why join the TrustHCS team?

Flexibility

With the entire organization working from home, flexibility is a key component of the TrustHCS culture. Technology has made the “home office” more feasible than ever before. The TrustHCS team takes advantage of these technical benefits to create the most flexible work environment possible!

Fulfillment

What makes each person get up and enjoy what they do for a living? The answer to that question is different for each individual. TrustHCS understands that a fulfilling career involves more than just a paycheck. Benefits packages are designed beyond simple health and dental. Employee paid healthcare, vacation packages and travel discounts, dental, vision and other benefits add to the experience working for TrustHCS.

Family Commitment

Often an overused term, “family” actually means something to TrustHCS.  The founders of TrustHCS come from a shared background of family owned and operated organizations.  They took the same qualities from their experiences in those organizations and applied them to the value structure at TrustHCS.  We work to live.  We don’t live to work.  Vacation time and sacredness of non-working hours are closely guarded at TrustHCS.

I have been working at TrustHCS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Opportunity. Room for growth. Options when you need/want change. You are never stuck in one place if you don’t want to be. But the biggest thing is the feel of family, warmth and caring. Well wishes on your birthday, a shout out on your anniversary each year, flowers when you’ve had surgery. For me, what I will never forget, is how this company took care of me in my most dire time of need. When hurricane Harvey took everything we owned Trust gave me time off, gave me financial support and stayed in constant contact providing emotional support. I never had to worry about my job or how we were to make it from day to day. They thought of everything and stayed on top of it all. I was never pressured to come back until I was ready. Trust truly cares about their employees I believe that wholeheartedly. ❤️

    Cons

While working remote is amazing it would be great if there was some way the company could come together once a year for a face to face even if it was something we had to pay for on our own. It would be worth it.
