Torrey Barnhouse, Founder and CEO of TrustHCS has a passion for hope. In 2004 he joined a Springfield, MO based nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of impoverished people in Nicaragua, Central America. Project H.O.P.E., Inc. is an interdenominational Christian service organization with work centers in Nicaragua, Central America, the poorest Spanish-speaking country in the western hemisphere. The organization is completely volunteer-driven in the States, though staff in Nicaragua receive a salary for their work with our children and families.

The organization’s primary areas of ministry are: pastor training, medical and dental outreach, home construction, preschools, evangelical festivals, water projects, abstinence programs, social programs and community development.

    I have been working at TrustHCS full-time (More than 10 years)


    Opportunity. Room for growth. Options when you need/want change. You are never stuck in one place if you don’t want to be. But the biggest thing is the feel of family, warmth and caring. Well wishes on your birthday, a shout out on your anniversary each year, flowers when you’ve had surgery. For me, what I will never forget, is how this company took care of me in my most dire time of need. When hurricane Harvey took everything we owned Trust gave me time off, gave me financial support and stayed in constant contact providing emotional support. I never had to worry about my job or how we were to make it from day to day. They thought of everything and stayed on top of it all. I was never pressured to come back until I was ready. Trust truly cares about their employees I believe that wholeheartedly. ❤️


    While working remote is amazing it would be great if there was some way the company could come together once a year for a face to face even if it was something we had to pay for on our own. It would be worth it.

    I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TrustHCS in September 2015.


    Danielle with HR called me first and did a phone interview then the supervisor called a day later asked a few normal questions and I was hired on the spot.
