I worked at Tucson Unified School District (More than a year)
The teachers, administration, and staff are some of the most dedicated that I've ever seen.
Huge district, little budget. A lot of schools have closed and classroom sizes have grown. Transient district with students being able to move freely from one school to another at any point in time during the year; stable classrooms difficult to come by.
I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Tucson Unified School District.
Group interview, they check on triage skills, personality, mostly to see if you would fit in the school. Each person in panel (there were 10) will ask you questions. Interviewed on a Tuesday and got a call on job offer that Friday. You will know after interview if they liked you or not. I didn't see anyone else that interview get a time frame on when to get a call back
