In 1974, Tuesday Morning founder Lloyd Ross was working with big-name manufacturers when he had an idea. These big brands always had leftover inventory and nothing to do with it. So Lloyd bought their excess merchandise and decided to host the world’s greatest garage sale in a warehouse in Dallas on a Tuesday morning. Why then? Because he believed it was the first positive part of the week.
At the first Tuesday Morning sale, there were so many high-quality, discounted products that some people came in looking for one great deal and left with a dozen. But the real fun was how excited everyone was about the things they found. Soon vendors began looking to us as the go-to resource for closeout merchandise.
Though we’ve grown far beyond our garage sale beginnings, a few things remain the same. Our expert buyers search the world for deals you’ll love to bring home. We make high-quality and name brands affordable. We look for unbeatable finds and once we've found them, we offer those upscale, closeout products at ridiculously low prices. And, like you, we still celebrate every incredible deal we discover.
What does this mean? Our founder believed that Tuesday Morning was the first positive part of the week. To this day, we offer team members opportunities and work environments where we can live our 40-year heritage and share a passion for incredible deals. We are always looking for associates who are excited about helping us achieve our goals and provide our customers, vendors and partners with a positive experience… where every day feels like a Tuesday Morning! We love what we do and it shows.
Become the leading destination for irresistible finds at incredible value on quality home and lifestyle goods.
We maintain our stores in a low-frills environment so we can pass even deeper savings to our dedicated customer base. Our guests are savvy shoppers with a discerning taste for quality at a value. They know we are big enough to source the best deals on closeouts and unique finds, but small enough to offer friendly service not always found in retail stores today. Thus, our 700+ retail locations have become local neighborhood stores where friends and family have fun exploring together.

Advice to Management
Keep up great job!!!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tuesday Morning (Mesa, AZ) in September 2012.
Typical as any job interview...meet and greet...yet, she did have to leave me in back alone for 15 minutes cause she isn't provided adequate hours to staff floor so she is the 2 person who backs up the store operations.
Non negotiable...really. They don't want to pay much.
