I have been working at Turner Construction full-time (Less than a year)
For such a large company worldwide, the local office feels extremely close. Moral is always high and management does a great job to keep it up. Lots of family events that everyone gets everyone involved.
Construction involves long hours, not the companies fault, just the field. Company seems to have more of a learn as you go technique. If you're not a quick learner this could be a hard transition.
Advice to Management
Communication is great, never felt like I wasn't able to talk to anyone. No complaints. Keep up the great communication.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Turner Construction (Orlando, FL) in August 2017.
The interview process is in 2 stages. First part is with a group 2 to 3 people. Second part is a one on one. Their office here in Orlando is awesome, it promotes a family style working environment and everyone in the office is very nice. The second part is a one on one where it is decided what role the candidate would be suitable for. After that the hiring process starts which is really quite fast as compared to most companies.
