I worked at Twin City Fan Companies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I worked almost 6 years in the TCF sales department. It was a tough decision to leave because I enjoyed what I did and the people I worked with. It may take you a little time, but the supportive team atmosphere (from top to bottom) in the Twin City Fan sales department made it easy to go to work everyday. Great work/life balance.

I liked that everyday presented a new challenge. One hour I was selling, the next I was helping to engineer a new product, and the next I was troubleshooting problems in the field. If you are driven to get things done there is plenty of opportunity for career advancement.

Every company has its positives and negatives. Bottom line, there are certain things TCF may lack compared to mega companies like google or Amazon, but they invest in their employees and company growth. You are not a number here and any honest and realistic person would find fulfillment and enjoy working here.

I am forever thankful for the investment they made in me, the experience I gained, and as corny as this may sound the friendships I made at TCF.

    Cons

Every company has room to improve. Nothing jumped off the page here, but if I had to pick something I would say the standard office electronics lag a couple years behind. To be fair though, the company has to make choices and there are just more important matters that require the investment.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in the company and continue to promote a positive team first environment.

    Interview

There are two phone interviews and a in person interview. The people who do the phone interviews are wonderful. They are very friendly and are able to provide a ton of information about the position.
