I have been working at Twin Technologies full-time (Less than a year)
Truly great people to work with. Working remote is awesome. I have a sense that the leadership genuinely cares about employees. Twin works with a diverse set of technologies.
Working remote has a unique set of challenges, but I feel that Twin is good at addressing them.
The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Twin Technologies (Woodbridge, VA).
Initial phone screen with an HR staffer (remote, like all employees; a personable and pleasant conversation) followed by request for a writing sample. The requestor implied that the sample should be a work sample. Because my previous employer, where I had been for five years, did not use much traditional writing that would have been appropriate, I submitted a presentation for a past volunteer project. This was rejected, so I created a new one. I sent it, received no confirmation, and called a week later to confirm that it had been received. I did not hear anything for about three weeks, when I received a rejection note via email.
While I appreciated the opportunity to create a written summary of a professional project, it is frustrating when a request from a recruiter is not made clearly, when no feedback is given, and no response is given other than a form rejection letter.
