I have been working at U.S. Water full-time

    Pros

This company provides a lot of room for growth and has a fun and flexible atmosphere. I love the fast pace and company culture!

    Cons

Rapid growth is not for everyone. If you are a hard worker looking to move up, this is a great place for you. If you are not a fan of change, this may not be your best fit.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at U.S. Water.

    Interview

It is too long and time consuming, I had way more interviews with people that had no bearing on the position at all. Some were great and gave guidance, but communication can be difficult. Over 2 months of interviewing and wasting my time, I am glad that I was still looking and accepted another position with a more stable and reliable company that knows what they want. The ethics, or lack there of showed in one of my interviews, with an individual whom point blank said they didn't know why they had to be part of my interview process when they wouldn't be part of my overall job hierarchy. The concept of a "small family company" is not true anymore because of Allete owning them, which means that new standards will be set, I've been through this before. They need to be honest with you upfront and tell you they want someone hired by ____ and will have someone hired by _____. If I charged my time to them I'm sure they would reconsider how long they made he process.
