    Pros

Working as a graduate student researcher, you will be exposed to a lot of hands-on experience that will definitely be useful in obtaining the right skill sets for industry. I loved my time at UC Davis and would definitely recommend it to other students looking to pursue their graduate studies.

    Cons

Depending on the professor with who you work, your schedule can get very busy.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UC Davis.

    Interview

Panel interview, where technical questions were asked that could be asked during day to day tasks. Hiring took some time but once it was completed it was a pretty straight forward process.
