I have been working at UHEAA full-time (More than 5 years)
I started at entry level and have had multiple opportunities for advancement. Smart work and positive attitude are rewarded. Excellent health and dental benefits, free parking and Trax, gym membership next to free, half off tuition at the U of U plus additional tuition reimbursement to attend almost anywhere, best retirement in the State, too much paid time off really, mission-oriented, rapidly growing. Servicing group is highly supportive if you take your job seriously, want to excel, and take feedback to heart. Management of servicing group is approachable, thrives on feedback and ideas, and fosters great work-life balance.
Huge growth spurt, trying to stay ahead of the growth.
Advice to Management
Invest in technology and you wouldn't have to spend so much on people and on support costs.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at UHEAA (Salt Lake City, UT) in April 2015.
The interview was an hour long interview that came from individuals who I ended up working with. The interview process was quite easy, but it definitely requires that you're up to date on local and domestic politics.
