I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (United States)

They were very straight forward, and did good job out lining what the rest of the interview process would look like. I applied, and think I heard back for a first interview within about a week or so. They provided some material ahead of time for me to read about the company. I applied for a position in Europe though, so I am not sure if this same pre-read process applies in the U.S. The interview questions were fair and straight forward to the role.

Today we are sharing our 5th update on diversity, equity and inclusion at Uber. Since our last update we made meaningful progress in increasing the diversity of our team. A few noteworthy highlights: - The global population of women grew almost 2 percentage points and women in leadership grew 1.2 percentage points. - In the US, the overall representation of underrepresented groups increased by 5 percentage points. - We saw a 2.8 percentage point increase of Black and African American individuals in the US. While we are glad with the progress we made, our work is never done. We will continue to work to ensure Uber is a great place to work for all. Read more about our people and culture in this blog post by our Chief Diversity Officer Bo Young Lee.
