I have been working at Uberflip full-time
A work from home policy (1 day a week) but it doesn't seem like its encouraged. In a time where we are technologically connected and work-life balance is more important than ever for mental health, relationships, families and just life in general. This is something that should be more encouraged.
Lots of turnover that makes you scared for your position.
No real team building within departments or company wide.
Advice to Management
Work environment & culture needs to be improved especially with the amount of turnover the company has experienced.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uberflip (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in October 2017.
Had an initial meeting with the Director of Content and the HR Specialist. They were both super warm and engaging. They asked me some general questions about my experience and the type of workplace that I like. I then had a second interview with VP of Marketing and the CMO. They asked some great questions about my skill set and what I would bring to Uberflip. It seems like a fantastic place to work – I only declined because I received a counteroffer from my current employer.
