    Pros

    Without a doubt, Udemy has the most passionate, collaborative, and genuine group of people you will ever work with - across all departments. There were many tough changes in the past couple of years, but I've stayed because of the opportunities and support from my team/manager.

    - Catered lunch 4x a week
    - Cultural events/celebrations, learning fairs, wellness events, yearly company retreat to meet global employees, monthly drink cart, trivia night, board game nights, lunch roulette to meet new people
    - Unlimited PTO
    - Learning stipend
    - medical, dental, and mental health benefits

    Cons

    Processes are messy and resources are always being juggled so it can be difficult to catch up when things are changing so quickly (but that's also the fun part, right?). If you can adapt to the changes, this won't phase you, but it's not for everyone.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Udemy (San Francisco, CA).

    Interview

    Recruiter reached out to me and she was a pleasure to work with. Had a few phone screens, homework assignment and got the rare in house interview. Really thought i had this in the bag but 2 days later I got the rejection call saying they changed their mind about the role and aren't hiring anyone.
    These bait & switch tactics are a terrible way to treat anyone looking to work at a company. Sadly it left me angry and upset. I had such a great experience leading up to the final call.
    Oh and to top it off the job is open again but of course I didn't hear from them. Complete waste of my time and theirs.
