I have been working at Ulteig full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

After 3 weeks of working at Ulteig, the claims of outstanding company culture and "Best place to work" are living up to expectations. The people are wonderful and happy. Managers give you responsibility and independence to fulfill your tasks however works best for you. The company is organized but not overbearing. I really appreciate the efficiency of the organization coming from smaller companies. The social events are fun and people are great.
I keep thinking it is too good to be true, but more senior members of my team tell me that this is how it has been since they have started. I keep looking for the catch but have yet to find it.

    Cons

    waiting for it... not yet

    Advice to Management

The CXO team is the heart of the great culture hear and their energy trickles throughout the organization. I met most of the CXO my first week and they were all very friendly and happy. They all work hard and are very organized but I am always happy to see them in the office.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Ulteig (Denver, CO) in March 2019.

    Interview

1st contact: By phone with the HR department to talk a little bit about my skills and what the company is looking for. The interview was very laid back and informative.

2nd Contact: This involved a technical interview with a lead engineer and a technical manager from my department.

3rd contact: I was flown to Denver for an in-person interview where I met with two different groups. The first was a with a technical manager and a design engineer. The second was with two lead engineers. This interview was laid back but technical. With my experience, I was able to answer most of the questions.

I would like to thank the awesome HR team that made me feel welcome and heard throughout the process.
