I have been working at Ultradent full-time (Less than a year)
I've only been with Ultradent for <1 year but so far it's been a great experience. Every company has a few quirks but overall I've found the other employees to be very nice, the facilities to be adequate and the culture to be relatively good compared to my last company as well. The pay for my particular position is quite competitive as well. I can't comment much to advancement and compensation advancements yet but the benefits are decent, work/life balance is good and the management I've worked with have been pretty receptive and knowledgeable.
Their main building is somewhat of an amalgam of different construction and patchwork due to growth over the last several years. It's really not a problem. Just a little bit funny. It's also a bit of a maze and takes some getting used to. Also, the manufacturing and support groups are somewhat compartmentalized. They work together when needed but seem like two completely different companies within themselves. However, I don't really know a way that could be improved since manufacturing and support have vastly different responsibilities.
Advice to Management
From reviews I've read, it seems like some areas/departments have much better employee experiences than others. I think it would be a good idea to use this information to determine what areas can be improved.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ultradent (South Jordan, UT) in July 2017.
Really positive experience despite no offer. Interviewer was really positive and respectful. Open about working on improving the marketing department. I botched part of the interview in person, but he was still really respectful and did not end the interview early even though we both knew he was not going to offer me the position. Originally reached out to me over email, then phone interview, then in-person interview.
