Mission: To Make All Athletes Better Through Passion, Design, And The Relentless Pursuit Of Innovation
I have been working at Under Armour part-time (More than a year)
-Team is great to work with, including Management; I've worked there twice (with a year and a half in-between) and this has remained the same- I took a pay cut to come back, mainly because of this.
-Work with a lot of International customers - its difficult at first but eventually you hear some really cool stories and its a good skill to put on a resume
-Discount is great
-Flexible scheduling - good with school/second jobs - both in most cases
-Company is great to work for and seems to care for its employees at all levels
-Competitive pay relative to most other stores at the outlets
-Atmosphere is relaxed and accommodating - Management realizes that some days can be hard and especially busy, and adjusts accordingly. At a lot of other jobs I've had, management just says "tough luck" and gets on you (primarily about the organization of the floor) no matter how busy the day got customer wise. At UA, they realize that the customer comes first and you can't always get to everything, so they get you help when it's available.
-Management isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and helps out on the sales floor whenever they can
-Lack of hours in slow periods - the store is relatively big, but is not one of the stores at the outlets that gets consistent traffic at all times (like nike, polo, etc.), so hours can be low during off times
-Atmosphere (generally a pro, but sometimes a con): very relaxed workplace, some employees take advantage of that
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work!
My only advice is to watch for loafing, because it can sometimes cause other employees to either:
A: get stressed out
B: join in
I applied online. I interviewed at Under Armour in December 2017.
Applied in November, Reached in late December, Hirevue interview
Prepare beforehand with questions I've written below :)
I think most will be fine if you prepare in advance
I can't write more than 30 words -_-
