WORKING @ UNIFIED
Unified looks carefully for a combination of technical know-how, emotional intelligence, and passion in line with our core company values. #uLife, a term we have coined to describe our company culture, is a big driving force behind all new hires. We feel a key success factor in our hiring has been our ability to pinpoint candidates who will thrive in the Unified family and be excited to be catalyst of innovation as a pivotal member of Unified and our industry as a whole. We look for people who will see an opportunity at Unified as much more than a job, but rather a career in an industry that revolutionizing modern life and business where opportunities for innovation are endless. These folks embody #uLife and are our key to success.
CULTURE @ UNIFIED
The Unified culture is more than team projects, office parties, and inside jokes about #hashtags. We truly enjoy being part of the “Unified Family”, which offers a unique opportunity to work with passionate, driven, and fun colleagues. We’ve even adopted using #uLife to describe the lifestyle that is working at Unified.
Whether it is on the softball field, the bowling alley, or a Holiday party our employees are all unified in celebrating #uLife.
Have a Voice
At Unified, everyone has a voice that is heard because we are all open to new ideas, different opinions, and group feedback. We make decisions as a team and empower employees at every level to succeed.
Collaboration and Innovation
We foster an atmosphere of teamwork in all our offices. In this spirit, Unified encourages collaboration at all levels, creating an engaging environment for all.
At Unified, we are all one big family. We find it incredible and rare that we’re all quite different yet manage to feel like a tight-knit group.
We’re very proud of what we do and the #uLife culture reflects that. Creating innovative products is serious business but we make sure it’s a lot of fun too. We have team dinners and “micro town halls” where we all get a chance to meet and interact with each other. Whether you’re a product developer, software engineer, or advertising ops specialist, if you’re smart and motivated, we’d love to hear from you.
At Unified we believe you should never stop growing, learning, and leading, which is why we started the Leadership Empowerment And Development (LEAD) program.
LEAD fosters an open workplace community open to both men and women, specifically designed to educate and encourage female employees to pursue their highest career ambitions with confidence. Our goal is to embolden female leadership by creating open communication, improving productivity, increasing retention, and attracting top industry talent.
Unified Cares is Unified's philanthropy committee. We join or plan our own volunteer and fundraising events, giving back to the communities in which our offices are located. Our causes range from environmentalism to poverty to disaster relief to #unifiedpride.
In 2017 we raised over $4,500 for rare cancer research, raised over $1,700 for Hurricane relief, donated backpacks to NY kids in need, and distributed over 10,000 lbs of produce to families in need.

I applied online. I interviewed at Unified (New York, NY) in August 2017.
Was contacted by recruiter, then tech screen by hiring manager, all very successful, even ended earlier. After that I got codility test, pretty straightforward and including just one trivial, but verbose (over 2 pages description) task. Was able to implement it in less just one hour out of 4 hours given. Got the 25% score by some hidden test cases, which looked weird. Either they didn't mention something or I didn't notice, but anyway it is just a bad test design which doesn't provide a fair evaluation. (It looked actually like a one successful task out of four, maybe?). I've never been contacted afterwards, and probably never will myself.
