I worked at Unison Site Management full-time (More than 8 years)
Interesting work, ability to learn more and develop skills, great coworkers, monthly luncheons, bonuses, good balance of work vs family life, most managers cared for their employees, nice atmosphere, activities for the offices.
The company is closing so most of the employees have been let go. Not sure how the company stands now - if anything will be made of the leftovers. Biggest con was that there was not much room for an employee's salary to grow over a long employment. The health insurance also was expensive compared to other companies', but at least had decent coverage.
Advice to Management
Always be honest with your employees, never keep them in the dark about the company's position. Listen to your employees and heed their professional advice when it comes to work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Unison Site Management (Boston, MA) in July 2016.
Easy -- they want people and previous employees have been knocked in Glassdoor. If you have a positive attitude and present yourself well you are all in. The challenge is after meeting face to face and a few phone calls, it still took a long time
