Mission: United Medical, LLC is a full-service healthcare organization, promoting healthier communities by changing practices and behavior to enhance efficient population management.
Because of the HIPA laws, you cannot take your work home. So it's easy to separate work life from your personal life. This place is good for a springboard to your next job or graduate school, and if you play your cards right have a good set of contacts to recommend you.
There is rampant nepotism at the company. The managers are very young and relatively uneducated (highest level of education I've seen is bachelor's degree), while the directors aren't much more educated (there isn't a single PhD at the company). Plus the people who perform the training are not very good at it.
Advice to Management
Get the directors to become better trainers or find someone else who is better at training. It's very hard to hit the ground running when even the people training don't seem to know what they are doing sometimes.
