I have been working at United Safety & Survivability Corporation full-time (More than a year)
I’m writing this review because I came across 2 recent reviews that were totally ridiculous and false! The first thing that I would like to address is the discrimination comment in one of the reviews which is totally false! There is a melting pot of races that work at USSC and EVERYONE is treated with respect! Pulling a race card on this company is totally wrong, if you’re slacking at your job or going against company policy, you will be noticed regardless of your skin color!
USSC is going through tremendous growth and with this growth, there are expected growing pains. Everyone has to step up and leave the old USSC in the rear view to make this transition work! No more 4, 9s and Friday 1/2 days...
There is mandatory overtime now, either you’re on board to make this Company achieve our goals or you’re not. This will not be the norm once this gets to be a well oiled machine!
I believe in what’s going on right now, as the company goes, so do our hard working employees!
With any company, you’re going to have a few people that have bad experiences. For the most part, this is a really good place to work with many good people working here!
Don’t pay attention to the few bad reviews on here, if you are looking for a challenging career and You don’t mind to work hard for the good of everyone involved, USSC is the place for you!
The good reviews are NOT cookie cutter and I was not asked or pressured to write this review!
I believe in my Company and the good people I work with!!!
There are a few as with ANY other company, but as we go, things will improve!

Advice to Management
Keep plugging away and keep everyone involved, we’ll all get to the peak together!
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at United Safety & Survivability Corporation (West Chester, PA).
Went to an open house. Was not impressed. Extremely new person ( intern?) was asking the questions. I have many years of experience in assembly, welding, and fabrication, and could easily do this job, but......I’m too old. I wasn’t told that, but you could see it in her eyes. I’ve known others that have a lot of experience, that were also never given the chance. Even after two to three interviews. They felt it too.
