Stable company that's been around for awhile. They've been getting really good about making business decisions that improve margin.
Cutting benefits and devaluing employees. Their business decisions haven't taken the employees into account and they've been cutting benefits, offering bonuses instead of raises and generally making people feel like they aren't valued.
Advice to Management
You're employees have a lot of institutional knowledge that's hard to replace. You're missing the hidden cost of hiring and training.
I applied online. I interviewed at Univar (Downers Grove, IL) in August 2017.
I received a call from HR within a week for the phone screening. That went well and I was scheduled for an in person interview a day later. The day before the interview, they emailed and canceled the in person interview and never rescheduled.
