I worked at Universal Health Services full-time (More than 5 years)
Flexible work hours and scheduling. It worked well with my degree pursuit. They also have a work study program for nurses to get their nursing education.
Occasionally disorganized management, out of ratio staffing, and the pay for MHT's, while competitive and often better than many facilities in the area, it could be better. The health insurance could be cheaper as well.
Advice to Management
Raise MHT pay.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Universal Health Services (Richmond, VA) in February 2017.
Got a call a few days after applying. Was told up front what the salary range would be. Was set up with an in person interview within the same week. They are looking for yes people. From what I could read between the lines, you are a number and you will be worked to death with little training or support. Side note, this company has a history of legal trouble alleging unethical practice and fraud that are listed on Wikipedia.
Great job to employees at Palmdale Regional Medical Center, who donated 378 Easter baskets to local foster children! After the baskets were delivered, a reception for employees was held by the Los Angeles County Office of Children Services.
Aiken Regional Medical Centers is taking a big step in reducing their carbon footprint! They recently launched an energy conservation project, which includes the installation of rooftop solar panels.
