    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at University Hospital Newark (Newark, NJ) in March 2018.

    Interview

I was called directly from the assistant in the operations department to come in for an interview. I interviewed with the department manager. I was called back 4 weeks later to come back and meet with him again and his manager. After 2 weeks, I got a call from HR that extended an offer to me. The position maxed out around what I was currently making. They offer me $9,000 less and the HR girl said they would not budge because they have a budget to meet. If they had a number in mind and that was way below my current salary, this should have been discussed in the beginning of the process. I would have never pursed the opportunity and taken time off to interview. Very unprofessional...
