Decent benefits and average pay if your just looking for paycheck.
Management is awful. Staff is worse. Employee's are the last to know anything. Gossip, bad behavior and negative attitudes are the culture at this place. Another example of just how un-useful Unions are yet again.
Advice to Management
Have respect for your fellow co-workers. At the end of the day, we are all human and we all work for a paycheck for a reason. Stop playing favorites and really pay attention to the ones who are working to make a difference. Really take a hard look at your "specialists" you have in place right now. You might just find a few of them are not leadership material. Some of them are just gossip spreading haters.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in April 2013.
HR is the entity that screens all aplicants. If your resume does not match the job description in every way, your application will not make it to the hiring manager of the department you are trying gain employment in.
They have a three tiered salary structure. You need at least 10+years expearience to come into the field you applied for in the 2nd tier. All others start our in the 1st tier.
