I have been working at University of Colorado Colorado Springs full-time (More than 5 years)
Great atmosphere, lot of room for growth, beautiful campus, professional developmental opportunities are encouraged, very stable and consistent environment, most faculty and staff are generally very friendly.
Who you know is sometimes more important that what you know. Cliques are common among certain departments and campus leaders, often times leading to the advancement of less qualified employees and favoritism.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, CO) in March 2016.
They had me do an online, 1-way video interview over 4 fairly common interview questions (why you want to work there, your background, etc). For some of the questions, you had unlimited retakes of your recorded video responses, others had 1-2 takes. This was a little nerve-wracking.
