I have been working at University of Dayton full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good work/life balance
Lots of freedom to do my job as I see fit
Excellent 403(b)/401(a) plan (low fees, generous match)
Very good health insurance options, overall benefit package
Free school for me, almost free undergrad tuition for kids
16 paid holidays, 12 days sick leave, 12-18 days vacation

    Cons

Paternity leave policy is garbage (you can use 3 days of sick leave)
Pay is slightly on the low side (maybe 5% below market), but benefits probably make up for that

    Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at University of Dayton (Dayton, OH) in June 2015.

    Interview

I contacted a friend of my moms, he put me through to my current boss who also did the interview. Went into a meeting room and I was talked through my plans for the future and the ways UD can help me achieve them. The interview was more of a discussion.
