I worked at University of Mount Union part-time (More than a year)
Allowed for flexible scheduling to accomodate your course load; easy to trade shifts around with coworkers; fair pay for work; good work experience to add to your resume
I cannot think of a downside. It's nice that the job is open and encouraged to all majors
Advice to Management
Tell the folks who give tours to prospective students how the center truly works
I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at University of Mount Union (Alliance, OH) in January 2014.
It was very casual, they asked about me and my experiences, etc. Talked about my involvements on campus, what I wanted to gain from the internship, how it could be mutually beneficial
