I worked at University of New Mexico part-time (More than a year)
The University of New Mexico is a great place to work if you are a student that is trying to juggle courses and work hours. Nearly all available positions will work hard with you to sort out a schedule that works for both yourself and your on-campus employer.
The only downsides to the student jobs at UNM are that oftentimes the hours are few and far between. Pay is fairly standard, and if you're working as a clerk or in retail, you're not likely to see too much above minimum wage.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, NM).
apply online, contact for interview, (panel interview), then an offer was given over the phone. Please be sure to check your email junk area as thats where the "already filled position" emails go. (for gmail) As for the phone calls, they all show up as blocked or a strange number that you cannot call back. Make sure you have a Voicemail set up that clearly states your name,
They dont really budge but always ask a recruiter for a raise from previous job, or at least find out your national averave for your job currently is, as you are above average.
