I worked at University of Wyoming part-time (More than a year)

Very flexible supervisors and accommodated for my school schedule while I worked there. The pay is good too for a student.

High turn over with employees. Upper management was unresponsive and didn't listen to employees ideas or opinions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Even if you took a day and shadowed some of your employees to see what they do, it would help as a manager to understand your workers and what they are doing.

    Assistant Professor Interview

    Anonymous Employee
    Accepted Offer

As with most academic position, submitted a application package prior to the posted deadline. Was contacted about four weeks later to schedule a phone interview. Was invited for a 3 day visit/interview. Was flown into Denver which is a two hour drive from Laramie. Picked up by a potential faculty member. While the formal interview doesn't start until you're on campus, expect lots of questions during the long drive from and back to the airport.
