I have been working at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center (More than a year)
I like the location because it is close to work. The floors on every unit is well stock with supplies for the patients and supply coffee for everyone
Don't pay enough, the nurses are lazy and don't do team work at all. under staff and work short most of the time and bonuses foe people who work overtime and come in too work when you are very short
Advice to Management
be more pro active with all your staff on the unit and listen to them to make better changes so that is works out for your patients too. More team work also make staff be more accountable for what there duties are to work as one not separate. we are here for the patients not a one man team
I applied online. I interviewed at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
Very easy. interviewed by 3 managers. Long orientation afterward. The first interview was more about what the next two interviews were to be about. They got more detailed as they went on.
