Interview
I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with the interview process at Ushur for the System Architect position. Initially, it was conveyed to me that the interview would be conducted by a senior official and would involve a general discussion. Unfortunately, the interview underwent multiple reschedulings, and a different interviewer was assigned on the day of the interview. To my disappointment, the interviewer did not join the meeting on time, causing me to wait for a significant period after I had already joined.
During the interview itself, it became apparent that the interviewer was not aware that it was intended to be a general discussion. Instead, there seemed to be a lack of preparedness and interest on the interviewer's part. I also noticed that the interviewer was engaged in a conversation with someone else while I was explaining the architecture, which made me question their level of attentiveness and engagement. It seemed as though they may not have been genuinely interested in the discussion.
To make matters worse, as the call was concluding, the interviewer did not take the initiative to ask if I had any questions or provide an opportunity for me to seek further clarification. This lack of professionalism and disregard for candidate engagement left me with a negative impression of the interview process.
In my opinion, it is crucial for interviewers to respect candidates' time, be well-prepared, exhibit genuine interest, and demonstrate effective communication skills. Regrettably, these expectations were not met during my experience with Ushur. I hope that this feedback can contribute to improvements in their interview process to provide a better experience for future candidates.InterviewAbout the project architecture with a use case diagram
