High profile clients, unique work (lots of theater/scenic and large sculpture), mostly artisan staff, fun projects that most designers dream of working on.
Dysfunctional inter-company communications, most people work as overflow so little job security, quality is not always top priority.
Advice to Management
VEE would produce much better work if employees were valued. Communication has become over compartmentalized, people don't receive basic information about what they are working on until mistakes have been made. A few extra hours spent upfront in the process would save a lot of time and money.
